Sims Recycling Solutions is the world’s largest electronics recycler and is a division of Sims Metal Management Limited, the world’s largest metals recycling company. In FY10 Sims Metal Management had a global turnover of over AU$7.5bn, generated from over 230 operations in Australasia, Asia, North America and Europe. Enough metal was recycled worldwide to prevent 12 million cubic metres of landfill. This included 1.2 million cars, which if placed end to end would stretch from Sydney, Australia to Hong Kong, China.
