Sims Recycling Solutions dismantles a wide range of electrical and electronic products, ensuring all sensitive data is shredded to protect customer assets. Hazardous substances are recovered and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Commodities such as metals, plastics and glass are then processed for recycling.

Waste electrical products are dismantled into commodity groups. Hazardous substances such as lead and cadmium are safely recovered and disposed of in the most eco-friendly way possible. Commodities are assessed for materials specification and segregated accordingly. Products are then sent for specialised processing for final reclamation. Dismantling lines can be set up to comply with specific customer needs.
Other divisions within Sims Metal Management provide a wide range of complementary recycling processes. As a result we can build on bulk volumes within the group to provide you with a cost effective recycling solution.
Sims Recycling Solutions provides you with detailed reports for each batch of waste electronic equipment processed.
Where possible and practical we will endeavour to meet specific requirements.
Each consignment is dated and given a job number to facilitate traceability and reporting.
A certificate of recycling is issued by Sims Recycling Solutions for each batch as documented evidence that your products have been disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Any electronic data is securely wiped or shredded to protect your identity, brand and business assets. All processing is conducted within secure, under cover facilities. Alarm systems and security cameras are fitted where appropriate.
Each Sims Recycling Solutions and Trishyiraya e-waste centre has ISO 14001 accreditation, which is the ISO standard for environmental management. ISO 14001 is a powerful management tool for generating real benefits for our company, our customers and our environment.
