IT Redeployment and Remarketing Services

Laptop - Sims Recycling offers refurbishment of IT assets for internal redeployment or external resale

IT assets that have been receipted, tested and data wiped can be either refurbished for redeployment or resale, or dismantled for component recovery or commodity recycling.  Certain product lines may not be in a suitable state for refurbishment and will need to be recycled.

Sale and Disposal Services

Sims Recycling Solutions has specialist experience in selling used electronic equipment, through channels such as resellers, retailers, brokers, and overseas dealers. Your assets will be tested, re-boxed, and sold into the second-hand market. 

We provide a cleaning service, which ensures the assets are in a suitable state for sale (i.e. removing all identifying stickers, asset tracking numbers, remove glue and wipe with mild detergent). Heavily soiled equipment can be specially cleaned with a more intensive process.

Staff Sales

As a special service to our clients, we offer the facility for staff to purchase refurbished assets.  Sims Recycling Solutions offers good quality, low cost, refurbished computers with a warranty. Staff become our customer - there are no liabilities on the company.

Redeployment

Increasingly businesses are wishing to extend the life of their IT equipment.

In addition to normal end of life services, we can take back your owned or extended lease equipment and refurbish it.

We can upgrade memory, HDD, peripherals or software, and either return it to service or store it short term or long term until you are ready to redeploy the equipment.

Finance Company Returns

At the end of leases some finance companies require equipment to be packed, complete with keyboards and mice and returned to them by a prearranged date.

We will collect, check in, test and audit, perform data erasure, if required, any equipment that is to be returned. We will also provide a detailed asset report, palletise all equipment and ship to the finance company.
